STATE FAIR OFFICIALS TO ANNOUNCE ENTERTAINMENT LINE-UP AT PRESS CONFERENCE

All members of the press are invited to attend the first-ever press conference style announcement of the Delaware State Fair’s Wilmington Trust Grandstand Line-up. Join Fair officials at 10:00 a.m. on May 1, 2006 in the Patron Brick Plaza, located directly in front of the Wilmington Trust Grandstand, to learn which "big names" in entertainment will be coming to the Fair in July.

All media are encouraged to bring proper identification as well as equipment to facilitate a live broadcast so as to immediately deliver the information to their respective audiences. A question and answer session will directly follow. Fair officials will be on-hand until 11:30 a.m. for brief one-on-one interviews immediately after the announcement on a first-come, first-serve basis.

An official press release detailing the line-up will be distributed on the afternoon of May 1, 2006 to all members of the media who have registered on the Fair's website to receive news releases.###
