AGUILAR AND PAYTON JOIN THE DELAWARE STATE FAIR TEAM

Payton and Aguilar Join Delaware State Fair Team

HARRINGTON -


General Manager Dennis Hazzard is pleased to announce two recent appointments to the fulltime staff of the Delaware State Fair, Harrington.

Joining the state fair team as Director of Rentals is Frank Payton, who will be responsible for all off-season rental activity of buildings and facilities of the vast entertainment complex. Payton will also utilize his expertise as a network/computing analyst as the Fair’s Director of Information Technology. Payton served for six years as Network/Computing Analyst at M&T Bank where he supported business processes and implemented high level enterprise projects for the company. A native of Milton, Payton is pleased to have been given the opportunity to become part of one of Delaware’s time-honored traditions.


The Delaware State Fair’s new Marketing and Publicity Director is Danny Aguilar, whose eight year-old son and six year-old daughter are thrilled their dad is now involved in their favorite event of the summer. Aguilar brings with him more than 15 years experience in Marketing and Communications. Prior to joining the Fair, Aguilar served as Executive Director for the Western Boys & Girls Clubs and was Manager of Information and Education for the Delaware Solid Waste Authority. He was also European Promotions Director for the world-renowned Up With People performing group. He has made his home in Delaware since 1986.

Hazzard commented, “The searches to find the right matches to fill these positions was exhaustive, but both Payton and Aguilar bring a professionalism, freshness and enthusiasm that fit perfectly with allother state fair team members and to the Fair’s mission. We are excited to have both on board.”
