DELAWARE STATE FAIR RECEIVES ADVERTISING AWARDS

HARRINGTON, DE - November 17, 2004
At the 2004 Maryland Association of Agricultural Fairs & Shows (MAAFS) annual convention, member fairs submitted items from their advertising campaigns in what is known as the Communications Awards Contest. For the 100,000+ attendance division, the Delaware State Fair is pleased to announce receipt of first place prizes in the following categories:

-Newspaper ad, black and white;
-Promotional advertising, outdoor;
-Printed promotional material, multipage;
-Printed promotional material, brochure/flyer;
-Television ad; and
-Slide presentation.

Additionally, the Delaware State Fair received numerous second place acknowledgements. The fair plans to submit several of the same entries into a similar contest held by the International Association of Fairs and Expositions (IAFE) at the end of the month in Las Vegas, Nevada.###
