Registration for the 2009 Delaware State Fair is now closed. If you have any questions concerning your 2009 entries, please call (302) 398-3269 ext. 226.
Non-livestock On-line Entry Instructions
IMPORTANT:
- Use Proper/Title Case when entering online; do not use all CAPS or all lowercase.
- If at any time you decide to exit the program before completing the on-line entry process, you must “SAVE CART” or all information will be lost.
- You must be using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher to access the on-line entry system.
- Please read all the information on the pages throughout the entry process. This information will supplement these instructions.
- All fields that are required are denoted in bold.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Go to www.delawarestatefair.com, click on “Exhibits” then “Departments.” Find the link on the page that says “click here to enter online.” Then follow these steps:
- On the left-hand side, choose “Login/Logoff.” Choose a type “Exhibitor.”
- If you entered online in 2008: Type the first and last name of the exhibitor and choose “I have previously registered.” Then, type your password used last year and press “Continue.” If you forgot your password, click on the link to have it emailed to your email address on file. If you do not receive an email shortly, please call the call us at (302) 398-3269.
- Please verify that all of your information is still correct, including birth date. If your birth date is not entered, please click “Edit Information,” enter your birth date, press “Continue,” and “Continue” again. This is very important to ensure that you are placed in the correct classes.
- If you did not enter online in 2008: Type the first and last name of the exhibitor, select “I am a new exhibitor” and press “Continue.” If you receive an error that says “This exhibitor name is already registered,” enter a middle initial after the first name, reselect “I am a new exhibitor” and press “Continue.”
- On this screen you will fill in all your exhibitor information including email address and a password that you want on your account. After you have put all the required information (email address and birth date is required, all required fields are denoted in bold), press “Continue.” Please note: Social Security number is not required and is used only for accounting purposes.
- Verify that all the information you typed is correct. The address you provide will be the address that your entry tags are sent to. Press “Continue.”
- On this screen you will be able to put in your entries. Click “Create Entries.” To enter your entries, complete the following steps:
- Choose a department (i.e. 4H)
- Choose your division (i.e. 4-H Sec B/Textile and Sewing Exhibits).
- A new page will load that allows you to view all the classes within that division (i.e. 0008: Apron to 0045: Experiment from project manual). Click every class you want to enter in this division. To use the “Add Entry to Cart” button, click anywhere to remove drop-down view.
- The next screen confirms that entry. Either choose a division for your next entry or choose one of the following buttons:
i. “Add similar Entry” – adds an entry within the same division as the last. Once you click this, there will be a pop-up that allows you to copy all of the data from your previous entry (useful if entering the same animal information for multiple classes). Click on the pop-up that says “Click here to copy data from your last entry.”
ii. “Add different Entry” – takes you back to blank division page.
iii. “Continue” – click if you are finished entering entries.
- After you have put all the entries in the cart that you desire, press "Continue."
- If you are not entering livestock or horses: You do not need to pay any additional fees, click “Continue.”
- The next page is a review of your entries. You can either add more entries, empty cart, check-out, or save cart for later.
- If you have entered into a contest in which there is an entry fee, the payment page will appear. Please enter your payment information and click continue. We are only accepting credit card payments this year. Your spot will not be reserved until we receive your entry fee.
- When you have verified that you have everything entered that you would like, press the “Checkout” button. Type in "YES" in the box after you have read the agreement over the red box and press “Submit.”
- This is your confirmation page. Please either print out a detailed receipt of your entries for your records, or have it emailed to your email address. A detailed receipt will automatically be emailed to your address on file unless you state otherwise.
- Press “Finish.” You can view your Account Summary or view past entries if you would like. If you want to end your session, either close the window or press “Login/Logoff.”

Livestock On-line Entry Instructions

5. On this screen you will be able to put in your entries. Click “Create Entries.” To enter your entries, complete the following steps:
a. Choose your department (i.e. Horses & Ponies)
b. Choose your division (i.e. Horses & Ponies Sec 02/Appaloosa Horses).
c. A new page will load that allows you to view all the classes within that division (i.e. 0006 Registered Stallion, 2yrs and over to 0012 Filly or Colt, under 1 yr). Click every class you want to enter in this division. Fill out the appropriate information for each entry. This may include animal name, registration information, rider information, etc. If the field is required and you do not know the information, please put “NA” in the field.
d. To use the “Add Entry to Cart” button, click anywhere to remove drop-down view.
e. The next screen confirms that entry. Either choose a division for your next entry or choose one of the following buttons:
i. “Add similar Entry” – adds an entry within the same division as the last. 6. After you have put all the entries in the cart that you desire, press “Continue.”
7. The next screen is how we will be tracking the number of animals and stalls. There are 3 fields that should be filled out for each animal type entered: the total number of goats entered in Open classes, the total number of goats entered in Junior classes ONLY, and the total number of goats you are bringing to the fair.
· If this information is incorrect or incomplete, it could result in a lack of available space in which we would not be able to accommodate your animal.
8. Once you have entered the appropriate number of animals that you are entering, press “Continue.”
9. Review your entries and fees to make sure that they are correct and that the total amount due is correct. If you would like to change any entries or fees, please do so now. After you are done reviewing your cart, press “Check-out.”
10. Press “Pay Now.”
11. Select your payment type then enter your payment information and press “Continue.”
12. Please confirm your entries again, read the agreement, and type “YES” in the box highlighted in red. Click “Submit.”
13. After you have either printed out a copy of your receipt or emailed a copy of your receipt to your email address, press “Finish.” It is recommended that you keep a copy of your online receipt.
14. If you are finished entering entries, you can close the window now. If you would like to enter entries for another exhibitor, press “Login/Logoff” and repeat all the steps.
