Patron Brick Program

Dear Friend of the Delaware State Fair:

In 1999, one of the most beautiful embellishments ever created on our grounds debuted to the enjoyment and delight of thousands of fair visitors. Our Patron Plaza, located between the Fair's administration building and the grandstand, features an abundance of benches, drinking fountains, accent lighting, colorful banners and shade trees. It has become an instant focal point and a gathering place for fair patrons. It is such a spectacular setting - a wedding ceremony was conducted in the plaza Gazebo on the opening night of last year's Fair!

Embedded in the concrete surrounding the centerpiece Gazebo is an area devoted to the placement of brick pavers, which many friends of the Delaware State Fair have taken the opportunity to purchase as a way of commemorating or memorializing loved ones, family members, themselves, pets, or even their in-laws. These small monuments of memorabilia should endure for generations to come.

Orders are being taken for a limited time for bricks to be set around the Gazebo in time for the upcoming Delaware State Fair. Two brick sizes are available, a 4" X 8" at $125 per brick and an 8" X 8" at $250 per brick. Engraving is included and you will also receive a small replica, which you can use as a keepsake. A certificate of ownership will also be issued for each brick purchased. There is no limit on the number of brick pavers a person may purchase.
