Exposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk in any public location where people are present; we cannot guarantee you will not be exposed during your visit. The CDC advises that older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions might be at higher risk for severe illness from Coronavirus. Guests should evaluate their own risk in determining whether to enter The Centre Ice Arena facility. People who show no symptoms can spread Coronavirus if they are infected, any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to Coronavirus. By coming to the Centre Ice Arena, you acknowledge and agree that you assume these inherent risks associated with attendance.

Face Masks are now required everywhere AT ALL TIMES! Including while Skating! No exceptions, unless you are actively eating or drinking. Please keep a 6 foot distance from everyone not in your household. We thank everyone for their cooperation during these challenging times.

Face Coverings Required in Centre.png

All skaters must wear a covid-19 protective mask on the ice!

This includes all adult & youth hockey players & goalies, referees, figure skaters, Public skate, Learn to skate & Play participants on the ice at every age group.

The only approved masks that may be worn in hockey games or in practice are 1) the CCM Game on Mask & 2) the standard proper masks people wear each day. Gators are not authorized to be worn in the building or on the ice.  To further clarify per the State of Delaware, the old Itech/clear full ice hockey shields must still have a mask worn underneath as the air vents in the mask allow the spread.

This is in response to increased Covid numbers in the region, the state and the local areas; please understand the intent of this change is to keep our ice rink safely open during the pandemic.
