BEGINNER HOCKEY SKATING SCHOOL

We are introducing a new program for those wanting to be involved in Hockey! This program is for skaters looking to become hockey players but are not quite ready to join learn to play. The goal is to continue to develop their skating skills while introducing them to a hockey environment. Must be going into Beginner 2 of Learn to Skate.

Equipment needed:

· Ice Hockey Helmet

· Hockey Gloves

· Skates

· Hockey Stick

*You may borrow a hockey stick and figure or hockey rental skates if you do not have your own. Hockey Equipment is available for purchase in Cool Sports Pro Shop.

LEARN TO PLAY

The teaching philosophy for each group in learn to play is that no student is held back by another student. Each class is one hour long and open to individuals ages 4 to 13 years old who have passed SS3 or Basic 2 in our Learn to Skate program. Multiple sessions may be needed to be proficient enough to move into our spring league or travel clubs.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: Every participant is required to wear an approved ice hockey helmet with cage, elbow pads, gloves, cup, shin guards, shoulder pads, pants and stick. Discounted equipment packages are available in the pro shop. Rental skates are available at no extra charge.
