Facilities Manager (Full-Time)
The Delaware State Fair is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the planning, maintenance, and operation of all Fair buildings, grounds, infrastructure, and mechanical systems.
This role supports safe, efficient, and code-compliant operations year-round and plays a key role during the annual Delaware State Fair. Additional responsibilities include team leadership, project coordination, and long-term facility planning, with full details outlined in the application.
This is a full-time, year-round position.

Seasonal employment at the Delaware State Fair offers short-term work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment during one of Delaware’s largest summer events. While the work can be busy and demanding, it also means spending your workdays at the Fair! Surrounded by the energy, activity, and behind-the-scenes operations that make it all happen.

Clean Team
Help keep the Fairgrounds clean and welcoming by emptying trash, wiping tables, and assisting with general cleanup.
Parking Team
Assist with vehicle flow, direct guests to parking areas, and help answer basic questions.
Ticket Scanners
Scan tickets at entry points and assist guests with basic entry-related questions.
Security Team
Support safe operations by checking credentials and monitoring designated areas.
Maintenance Team
Assist with setup, teardown, grounds maintenance, mowing, trash removal, and general facility support.
