ITEMS YOU CAN BRING TO THE FAIRGROUNDS

Whether you’re spending a few hours or the entire day at the Fair, bringing a few essentials can help you stay comfortable. Check out the items you’re welcome to bring

COOLERS, FOOD & DRINKS

Guests are welcome to bring coolers, food, and non-alcoholic beverages onto the Fairgrounds. Enjoy your meals at one of the many picnic and seating areas throughout the Fair.

RAIN GEAR

The Delaware State Fair is a rain-or-shine event. We recommend bringing umbrellas, rain jackets, towels, and wearing appropriate footwear if rain is in the forecast.

Please note: Umbrellas may not be opened during Grandstand concerts.

STAY COOL

Personal fans, cooling towels, and other cooling accessories are encouraged. You can also cool off by visiting one of our many air-conditioned buildings throughout the Fairgrounds.

Help us keep the Delaware State Fair safe and enjoyable for everyone!

For the safety of all guests, everyone entering the Delaware State Fair will pass through security screening at all public entry gates. UNACCOMPANIED MINOR POLICY

All youth under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a sober and competent adult (21 or older) while entering and attending the Delaware State Fair. After 5:00 p.m., guests under 16 without an accompanying adult will not be permitted to enter the fairgrounds.

Please note:

  • One adult may supervise a maximum of four (4) guests under the age of 16 per day.
  • Proof of age may be required.
  • Limited exceptions apply for youth with valid concert tickets, approved exhibitor or concessionaire credentials, and organized group visits.
