Purchasing Concert Tickets for the REVISED 2021 Delaware Lottery Summer Concert Series

In consultation with Delaware’s Department of Public Health, concerts to be held this year will offer seating laid out as follows: TRACKSIDE: No pit. No VIP Loft. Seating will only be available in 222 PODS comprised of a group of 4 seats arranged with social distancing guidelines in mind. This means that the track capacity for each concert or music show is now 888 concertgoers, a 68% reduction in available seating. The first 4 rows of PODS are considered PREMIUM PODS due to their close proximity to the stage and are available in a limited quantity for each show. Stadium and Grandstand: Every other row of our permanent seating in the stadium bleachers and the grandstand cannot be sold or occupied by any show patron. Additionally, there will be 2 seats (left and right) of each order of 2,4 or 6 seats that must be left empty in order for you and the Fair to maintain proper social distancing between unrelated ticket buying parties. The specific location of the seating groups of 2, 4 and 6 are depicted on the seat chart (see seating map on any concert event page). The number of grandstand seats available for each show is 1,077 and the number of available seats in the stadium bleachers section is 485 per show.

BLIPPI THE MUSICAL - Will Stevin John be in the live show?

Stevin John is not in the live show. Blippi was always envisioned as a character. Stevin John is the creator of Blippi and acts as the writer and creative force behind the Blippi character. Now that Blippi has evolved as a character he is excited that a dynamic stage performer has been cast as Blippi to entertain and thrill audiences across all of the tour markets.

Is a Mask Required?

Based on recently issued Delaware Department of Public Health guidance, effective Friday May 21, 2021, individuals who are fully vaccinated will not be required to wear a face mask while anywhere on the fairgrounds (inside and outside) such as the M&T Bank Grandstand for concerts. Individuals who are not full vaccinated are strongly encouraged to wear a mask.

Are pods only available in 2, 4 or 6 seats?

Each performance will have a limited amount of 2, 4 or 6 seat pods available. Four-person pods cannot be combined and are available in all sections. Pods of two or six seats are only available in the STADIUM or GRANDSTAND sections. Seating chart subject to change due to revised CDC guidelines.

If I want to sit on the TRACK and there are less than four people in my group, do I have to purchase a whole TRACK pod?

Yes. The TRACK pod section has been developed to ensure all patrons are physically distanced, and to maximize the number of individuals who can view the performance on the TRACK, if you require two seats you must purchase seats in a designated two pod section in either the STADIUM or GRANDSTAND sections.

What concerts are being cancelled from the November 2021 Concert Lineup?

We are sorry to announce that 6 of our earlier announced shows had to be entirely cancelled due to the reduction in seating capacity. They are: Roots & Boots, Sam Hunt, TobyMac, Tedeschi Trucks Band, I Love the 90’s Tour, and Hank Williams, Jr. These shows and the patron interest that they drew are no longer compatible with COVID social distancing guidance that now dictate that the M&T Bank Grandstand can only hold approximately 2,500 concert patrons (1,500 for wheel events like the Demo Derby and Monster Truck Show). REFUNDS ARE COMING: Starting Thursday April 15th, all tickets purchased directly from the Fair to any and all shows will be fully refunded (including service fees) beginning Thursday April 15th. Refunds will be posted automatically to the credit or debit card used at the time of purchase.
