While we are home to the Delaware State Fair 10 days in July, our grounds is host to a variety of events, attractions and shows the rest of the year.
The Delaware State Fairgrounds is a place where visitors create memories that transcend generations. The over 270-acre Fairgrounds is a year-round entertainment venue hosting events, activities and meetings throughout the four seasons.
With a large variety of options, the Delaware State Fairgrounds offers many different locations on the property that can be used for a variety of events. Weddings, trade shows, livestock shows, motocross camps, and car shows are just a few of the possibilities here at the Delaware State Fairgrounds!

Our goal is to make planning an event as easy as possible. Our diverse facilities serve as prime venues for a multitude of events and the Fairgrounds boats a courteous and professional staff that is here to help you execute a successful event!
The Delaware State Fairgrounds' venue portfolio and flexible event space can be structured to meet your needs perfectly. We have the facilities, staff and services and equipment to make each event a complete success. Conveniently located just south of Harrington, the Delaware State Fairgrounds are easily reached from DE-MD Route 14, Route 13 and DE-MD 404.
TIPS FOR PLANNING A SUCCESSFUL EVENT

Pick a date far enough ahead of time to plan your event

Develop an idea or theme for your event

Secure all dates, caterers, decorators, services, equipment, etc in advance; minimum of 60 days

Decorate your venue to give attendees a unique and personal experience

Always have an emergency kit and Plan B

Have a back-up plan for inclement weather

Promote your event on multiple platforms, and develop creative ways to engage your customer

Announce your event a minimum of 60 days before it occurs so that your customers will be able to save the date

Have an adequate set up time scheduled, and provide detailed instructions so that set up flows smoothly and appears pristine
