The Bay Country Figure Skating Club is a United States Skating Association member club, and has been organized as a non-profit organization within the meaning of section 501(c)(7), dedicated to promoting the sport of amateur figure skating at the national and international level in various disciplines of Freestyle, Dance, Pairs, and Precision Teams.

Unique to the Mid-Atlantic region, the covered, multi-purpose 80,500 square foot facility boasts 41,400 square feet of arena space surrounded by bleachers. The Quillen Arena is capable of hosting a variety of events ranging from horse shows to motocross exhibitions and live boxing. The building was constructed in 1997 and dedicated in the honor of board member and Representative G. Robert “Bobby” Quillen. Additionally, the facility offers flexible arena surface arrangements.
